this has got to be quick. my computer was dead all last week cause the power chord caught on fire while it was on my lap. good times. but i'm back. here's a list of things that i have thought of writing about over the past week:
> last tuesday was my birthday. i think birthdays are pretty silly and i don't make too big a deal about them... but when it is your birthday, i find this desire to let people know... just so i can get that attention. but on the flip side it feels pretty dumb to say to your coworkers "you know, it is my brithday."
> speaking of birthdays, i got 50 bucks in itunes money from the folks. but i'm not sure what to spend it on. give me some suggestions (i guess that means you kevin and nate, not sure if anyone else reads this junk)
> saw the movie "expelled," which is ben stien's documentary about darwinist evolution's stranglehold over the scientific community and the refusal to allow theories, such as intelligent design to even be discussed. it was a pretty compelling film. i recommend it.
> i'm reading this little book called "from pride to humility." let's just say that i got some work to do in this area.
> weather has been pretty glorious. last week i took a client of mine out to play some baseball down at the local park. he brought his bat, and we were taking turns hitting and such. i got a hold of one and ripped it over the right centerfield fence. i don't care who you are, how old you are, what the circumstances are, there is nothing better than watching that ball sail over the fence. i ran the bases. that's right. i couldn't help it. the only negative from the whole experience - couldn't get the kid's ball back, so now i have to buy him a new one.
> roger clemmens - what else can be said? i got nothing.
> nba playoffs: pretty good. baseball season: not so much. if not for fantasy, i'm not paying too much attention. the reds fail.
> next two weekends kevin's in town. bring it on.

I read your posts. Most of them.
Several comments:
1. I called you. You didn't call back. That's ok. We've done it to one another several times :)
2. The Atalanta Hawks were fun to watch. Cinderalla almost; and as I know especially recently "almost doesn't count."
3. Buy the new George Strait album. It's good. Yes, its cheesy but George makes cheesy look good.
4. Happy belated B-day my brother.
5. Speaking of movies, watch: A Painted Veil. Norton is good like normal. Watts is always luminescent in her actress-ing.
6. Due to the lack of guns I don't know if I have ever launched a ball over even a little-league field fence. But, as a kid launching tin-foil balls over my back-yard fence with my little bro still bring tears. Especially when I called the left field fence 30 feet away and sailed it into Covey Alley.
why do you conitnue to spell roger clemens wrong? it's driving me crazy, and i think you're doing it on purpose. if so...congratulations. i can't get over it.
i think there's a lot of people who read our blogs that we don't know about. they just don't leave comments.
see...our lives are a lot more noteworthy than we think.
you are funny. i haven't read your blog in a while. but you are really funny. i don't know if it is because i know you, or if it is because you are good writer, or if because you are really good at that existential draw me in piece and make clever one liners thing. whatever it is i seriously laughed a ton, reading your blogs from the past few months. either way. happy birthday my friend. much love from the not funny guy in SD.
